Northern Ireland beef and sheepmeat industry.
The work will involve a comprehensive investigation of all aspects of the Northern Ireland red meat chain - the challenge for the Red Meat Task Force is to determine how a profitable and sustainable industry can be achieved.

Red Meat Task Force Calls for Government Action
The industry members of the Northern Ireland Red Meat Task Force are calling for Government action on a number of critical initiatives to ensure the Northern Ireland red meat industry is economically efficient and not placed at a competitive disadvantage.

IMPLEMENTATION OF RED MEAT TASK FORCE STRATEGY –
The Task Force strategy was launched at its conference on 3 October and has been widely communicated throughout Northern Ireland, GB and ROI in the last three weeks. This is an ongoing process involving NI stakeholders, farming organisations, processor organisations, levy bodies, the press and other interested individuals and companies.
